lil COUGARS 2024

​Coach C, the founder and director of G-R-A-B and G.Y.B.L took on the role of coaching, guiding and mentoring these young men. She carried her team to the semi-finals with a group of kids with hearts of a lion. Coach C said, "I learned a lot about myself coaching this amazing group of kids."

Coach Tee returned for the 3rd year in a row with a new crew for the BULLDAWGS. Her passion and dedication for the game is the key for our youth to grow and learn the game of basketball. The BULLDAWGS played an amazing season with some talented players.

CAROLINA HORNETS

Carolina Hornets were coached by Coach Carl and Coach Cee wo are father and son. The talent these guys have is definitely something to watch and look forward to seeing. The Carolina Hornets won the 2024 G.Y.B.L Championship.

ATHLETE'S FOOT

​BIG THANKS and APPRECIATION to Ace and The Athlete's Foot Team for donating over 40 pair of shoes for every player in the league the second time around. Being able to connect and partner with a company of their magnitude is nothing but GRATEFUL. We are looking to grow the GYBL every year and the Athlete's Foot Team is right there with us.

​Words can't express the dedication and support that the TAF family is giving us. This is the second year they have given our players elite shoes, and I am proud to say they will continue to support the GRAB team!

Kids Remarks:
--"It is so cool to get free shoes from a local shoe store and the shoes are fire."

--Athlete's Foot always call Ms. C for us to be a part of the cool things at the store.

--The shoes we get are top tier players in the NBA and I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a apart of the GYBL.

Chris Kenan called with a major link that set GYBL good for a very long time. His connection with Duke athletics, blessed us with 40 basketballs. We were able to be a blessing to many others. Thanks again Kenan and Duke athletics.

GO Durham and Neighborhood Improvement Services

​For the last 3 years and counting GO Durham and NIS has been the front runners for our city and allowing some amazing organizations who are truly making a difference in the lives of our residents here in the CITY OF DURHAM. GO Durham and NIS is constantly looking for ways to make the life and living easier. They are ALWAYS listening so all we have to do is SPEAK!

G-R-A-B could not have birthed G.Y.B.L without both of you. I have met some amazing, wonderful people along the way. Because of these 2 key tools in the city, G-R-A-B will continue to change, grow and enhance the lives of our youth and families in the "BULL CITY". Thank for allowing be to bring a vision to LIFE!

The G-R-A-B TEAM cannot express the love and support we have received from Athlete's Foot.
